Our Team

Dr. Norman Guillen

grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. He was in the Honors Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Honors Studies. Upon receiving his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1994, Dr. Guillen trained in a general dentistry residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Birmingham. He then went on to care for patients in private practice and has been caring for patients in the same area of Birmingham for over twenty years.

Holly Resmondo

is our patient scheduling coordinator. She has over fifteen years’ experience in dentistry and has been working with Dr. Guillen since 2002. She is wonderful at accommodating our patients’ time and scheduling needs (pictured left).

Natalie McDonald

is our patient financial coordinator. She helps and guides patients through the insurance and financial needs of their dental treatment. Natalie has over 25 years of experience in dentistry. She has served patients in our practice since 2004. Feel free to ask her any questions you may have regarding insurance or cost of dental procedures (pictured right).

Carol Mcfee

has been a practicing hygienist for over 35 years and has worked with Dr. Guillen since 1995. Carol has a remarkable patient family within our practice and has taken care of many family generations of patients for years – a great compliment to Carol’s caring and compassionate nature.

Susanne Jackson

has been working with Dr. Guillen since 2003. She has over 20 years of experience working in dentistry and is an extremely skilled dental hygienist. Incredibly meticulous and extremely dedicated, Susanne is a wonderful example of a hygienist who loves what she does and values the friendships of her patients.

Brandy Creamer

has been working with Dr. Guillen as a dental assistant since 1998. She has over 25 years of dental experience and has a natural gift of anticipating the wants and needs of our patients. She has a sincere heart to serve our patients while they are here with us. Her loyalty and service to our patients is priceless (pictured left).

Tamara Gray

has been a dental assistant for over 10 years and has served and cared for patients in our practice since 2005. She is a meticulous perfectionist and has an artistic talent that enhances her dental assisting skills. She is always focused on the concerns, comfort and needs of her patients above anything else (pictured right).

Susan Cost

has worked in our practice for 10 years. She utilizes her 15 years of experience in dentistry to insure that all of her patients receive the most comfortable, thorough and complete care possible. Susan is incredibly devoted to making sure each patient’s visit is efficient, timely and pleasant.

Dana McGowan

has been caring for dental patients for over 10 years. She is a valuable, multi-talented member of our team with exceptional skills as an assistant and boundless talent as a dental hygienist. She is compassionate, caring and empathetic to all of her patient’s concerns. Always with a smile and a friendly voice, Dana is a true patient advocate in our practice.

Tisha Dempsey

has over 20 years of experience and knowledge in dentistry. Her skills as a dental hygienist come naturally and her focus on comfort is incredible. Tisha’s warm and friendly presence is a truly comforting and relaxing enhancement to a patient’s time with us. She is incredible at anticipating all of her patient’s needs.
